Chris Star is a Native of San Diego/Ocean Side, California who is a rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, and owner of the course Music Business Essentials. Inside this episode you will have the opportunity to hear Chris Star's story from past to present.
Chris and I kick off the episode talking about his life growing up in California as a child. Chris' life story is chapters and each chapter gives you more insight on how Chris has got to where he is. Growing up in Cali as a teen Chris lived in a 2 parent home with a father that was in the military. After his parents split Chris would live with his mother and soon gravitated to the streets and would later become affiliated with the Crips.
Having a rocky relationship with his mother Chris would start to write music and sing to his mother, something he found out he could use to talk to his mother. Through this Chris would perfect his skills and have the opportunity to work with big time producers at the age of 14. Chris had the opportunity to meet a some of the BIGGEST stars in the game before they became who they are. Chris would leave that situation and start down a different path which he would later end up in the United States Army with an amazing masterplan. While in the service Chris would meet Chevy Revis who later connected us.
