It’s been a minute since I’ve recorded and I want to share why. I’ve released another episode along with this one, but there was such a powerful lesson in WHY I haven’t been publishing over the past couple of months that I needed to share.

You’re here for mental wellness.

To me - that’s confidence, joy, the ability to manage stress in a healthy way, laughter, creativity, focus…basically being tue *best* version of you even when life is a crap show.

I wouldn’t be leading this message and movement with any level of authenticity if I wasn’t feeling and acting in alignment with that definition.

I don’t know about you, but this past 2 1/2 years has been bananas.

A pandemic - which for some had a profound impact on their lives and other not so much.

For my family - we felt it.

What started with pandemic schooling in 2020 turned into homeschooling for 2 school years while also building a business and adding in a surprise 3rd child to our family.

It’s been bananas.

On top of that, I lost a grandpa and then my step dad unexpectedly in 2021.

Lots and lots of pressure.

While I’ve been able to *live* mentally well - it has come without needing to constantly assess my priorities.

Which is exactly why I set the podcast down for a season.

Here’s the lesson, though.

As much as it felt hard and like I was failing by not showing up and releasing mew content for you over the past several months, I knew I would come back when the timing was right.

I spent my time and energy deepening my knowledge base so I could serve you better.

Because I knew I’d be back.

I poured energy into finding solutions to the “problems” that were taking my time and focus away from this part of my business.

Because I knew I’d be back.

I learned some really really powerful new skill sets that I cannot wait to pass on to you - and I know they’ll change your lif Hyatt like they have mine.

Because I knew I’d be back.

When you’re working towards a goal - you will have obstacles.

When you are trying to achieve your goals in a way that honors your health, family, and creates balance in your life - hustle harder is never the answer.

Sometimes you have slow down to speed up.

Not everyone needs this reminder - but you might.

A pause isn’t quitting or failing unless you decide to let it ge.

This pause was the best possible thing I could’ve done to *live* my life mentally well and learn even better strategies to help you do the same.

Excited to be back.

Even more excited for the value you’ll be getting every Tuesday and Thursday plus new ways to work together.
