In this episode, Lauren catches up with Daniel Ferguson the Writer and Director of Superpower Dogs. This movie follows six dogs and their human partners as they brave earthquakes and avalanches, protect endangered species and help people with special needs.

Daniel gives us a behind-the-scenes look at how they selected which dogs would be featured in the film. Hearing the story about how ‘Cat’ Labrada picked Halo a Dutch Sheperd that the film is centered around who is training to become an urban search and rescue pup within Florida Task Force 1. The movie follows Halo, a rookie puppy training to join one of the most elite disaster response teams in America. Meet Henry, an avalanche rescue expert in the mountains of British Columbia, Reef, a Newfoundland lifeguard with the Italian coastguard, Ricochet, a Californian surf legend helping people with special needs, and the Bloodhound brothers, Tipper & Tony, who are leading the fight to save endangered species in Africa.
