Good morning, Dallas friends! It's time for your daily weather update, brought to you by the National Weather Service in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.
Let's jump right into it, shall we?
Overnight, expect a 20 percent chance of showers with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 57 degrees. Winds will be coming in from the south-southeast at around 5 miles per hour.
As we move into Thursday, there's a slight chance of showers early in the day, followed by a chance of showers and thunderstorms, and possibly even a thunderstorm in the afternoon. The high will be near 65 with a southeast wind of 5 to 10 miles per hour, gusting up to 20 miles per hour. So keep those umbrellas handy!
Thursday night will bring more showers and possibly a thunderstorm with a low around 56. The chance of precipitation is 100%, so be prepared for some wet weather.
Looking ahead to the end of the week, Friday will see a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly in the morning, becoming mostly cloudy with a high near 69. Winds will shift to the north at 5 to 15 miles per hour, gusting up to 20 miles per hour.
For the weekend, expect a mix of sun and clouds. Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high near 70 while Saturday night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 55. Sunday will bring cloudy skies, a high near 70, and a breezy south wind of 15 to 25 miles per hour, gusting up to 35 miles per hour.
