They talk about the animosity between the factions and the announcement that Cross-Faction grouping will be optional, so rest assured the factions are sticking around. Katie mentions her faction pride. They talk about their own chances of cross-faction raiding, and reminisce about when they were in the same Alliance guild as a worgen and night elf. They talk about how the factions are unable to communicate in game, which prompts Nick to come up with an April Fool’s idea. Katie responds by suggesting they should be recording in Taurahe and Goblin.
They then recall the Mists of Pandaria cinematic, and review how the human and the orc worked together to fight the Chen. They also talk about Jaina and Thrall as the original representatives for crossing the faction divide to work together. Nick theorizes that the faction leaders serve more as diplomats and therefore must be on more peaceful, personal terms with each other, whereas the general populace is free to hate the other faction. He cites Garrosh being loved by the Orc populace while regarded as an asshole by the players and most faction leaders we dealt with. Jaina and Tyrande also fill similar roles.
Next they talk about the viability of travel for the average Azeroth citizen, and mention the Blood Elf tourists in Zandalar. They talk about Baine appearing in Stormwind, and Nick wants to see a full retinue of Kodos parading into Stormwind. They talk about how the end of Battle for Azeroth is when this feature should have been introduced, but better late than never.
Finally, we respond to an email from CPTGriner. Katie gets into her characters’ backstories and Nick wants to see Draka babysit her grandkids and the Ember Ward turned into a beach.
