Week 17 was a mad and long week, with the Christmas games almost a week ago, but we start there, as the Chiefs make short work of the Steelers, whilst the Ravens are barely bothered by the Texans.

Elsewhere

  • The Chargers sew up a Playoff spot
  • Vikings - Packers is another classic game from the NFC North
  • Lions keep control of the NFC with a win over the 49ers
  • The Giants beat the Colts who can't stop having WTF moments to end the season
  • Buccs keep control of the NFC South, do they have enough to beat the Falcons to the final slot?
  • Who will make the playoffs from the AFC, Broncos have their fate in their hands, but Dolphins and Bengals are there if the mess up?

We then look at the coaches who will not be in a job next week, Bears, Jets and Saints already have positions up for grabs, but who else will join them?

Doug Pederson is bookies favourite, but what about Daboll, Mayo, Stefanski, McCarthy and the other coaches of struggling teams?

We look back at the NFL Draft for 2025, as one of the more interesting ones in recent memory. With only a few stars, but plenty of needy teams, how did the teams attack it? Cam Ward is the least talked about No. 1 pick since Travon Walker, but what can we expect Is Shedeur slipping the main story Who improved a lot? Who whiffed? We talk the winners and losers in the immediate aftermath of the Draft, who still has work to do, and also Kittle's new deal with the 49ers.…

It's that time of the year, and this year, we go beyond the first round, and we mock Rounds 1 and 2. Who will reach? Who will bag a bargain? Who can pick a trade? Who will not look at the list and end up having to pick 6 teams straight? How many QBs will go? Which players will drop, because we don't rate them, or because we forgot about? It's our favourite show of the year, where we don't predict the Draft, but give an inkling of what we'd do if we were in the position to be the GMs.…

There is now two weeks until the Draft, and we look at who might be top prospects going in the first round, and who are our guys we think might be hidden gems. Firstly though we discuss Geno's new deal, Trey McBridge resetting the Tight End market, get distracted by Griff hating on Kyler, and the retirement of Julio Jones…

Russell Wilson is the new Giants QB, but so is Jameis Winston. Neither of these are Daniel Jones, so one of the group is happy, but is better than Danny Dimes, a reasonable expectation, or just another low? What next for Aaron Rodgers? The Draft is now only a month away, who are top prospects, and we then find out who we'll be drafting in our Mock Draft just before the big day.…

The Eagles are your Super Bowl Champions for 2025, who dismantle the Chiefs, and leave Mahomes humbled. What were the key factors in the win? Aaron Rodgers is being let go by the Jets, is this it, or where does he end up next season? Deebo is being traded by the San Francisco 49ers, or should we say, Deebo is being released by the 49ers. We look into the Hall of Fame, as nothing for some Giants fans to be upset about here surely?…

You've probably realised it's Super Bowl week, so we look at who might win, how they might win, along with trying to muster up some enthusiasm for a match up that is not igniting our interest just yet. Myles Garrett wants a trade, and we discuss why the Mavs trading Luka Doncic in the NBA, may have repercussions for the NFL. The Hall of Good moves on to teams that lost the Super Bowl.…

The Bills just don't come away from Arrowhead with a win in the Playoffs, and this was close, but whether the referees were the determining factor, or your Conspiracy Theory of choice, the Chiefs have a change of going 3-in-a-row. The Eagles return to the Super Bowl after whatever that was last year, with a large win over Washington. Are they the best balanced team in the league? We also do Hall of Good, with free reign.…

The best weekend of the season is here, and this year did not disappoint, with the Chiefs winning against a stout Texans defence, and producing much talk about Referee decisions. Elsewhere Commanders produce the shock of the round, beating the heavily fancied Lions Eagles can thank Saquon for another performance against the Rams Bills and Ravens is a game of short margins We also look into the coaching carousel, as Bears finally get their man, Jags lose their GM a bit too late, whilst what do the Raiders, Cowboys, Jags and Saints do now? Tight End is up for consideration on the Hall of Good…

Wildcard Weekend might not have had the clashes we hoped for, but it was still an interesting slate of games, with Rams and Texans defence setting up wins against fancied opponents, whilst making the lives of the opposition QBs an absolute nightmare. All games considered, including: Bills make easy work of the Broncos Ravens also don't have to do much to beat Steelers Daniels is a star as Commanders win it late Eagles defence is stellar The Head Coach carousel continues, with Vrabel announced, and what the hell is happening in Dallas? The Hall of Good continues, with us revisiting the Wide Receivers.…

Lions beat Vikings to take the NFC North and the NFC No.1 seed. The Lions defence make Darnold's game miserable, and leave you wondering why Dan Campbell isn't more of a lock for Coach of the Year. Elsewhere: Broncos beat some people in Chiefs uniforms Bengals come up short Chargers move up the seeding Titans get the No.1 pick All games covered, no matter how inconsequential We also cover all the Head Coach firings, wonder if more positions might be come available, and look ahead at the Super Wildcard Weekend. All this, plus the usual Biggest Balls, Sweetest Play, and Paul has the hard choice of picking a Play for Hall of Good.…

Week 16 is in the books, and we start with a Commander win over a Hurts-less Eagles, but it was a great week including Chiefs outdo the Texans, who lose Dell Bills do enough to beat Patriots Lions make very easy work of the Bears Vikings are keeping up the chase Cardinals lose at Panthers and are out the Playoffs Falcons lead the chase for NFC South Chargers beat the Broncos All game covered, plus our usual Sweetest Play of the Week…

Week 15 is in the books, and the Bills continue to be involved in Game of the Season contenders, this time against the Lions, who unfortunately ramp up the amount of injuries on defence. Elsewhere Titans v Bengals is glorious nonsense Lamar is great, but it was against the Giants Eagles look impressive Vikings continue the fight for the 1 seed in NFC Packers look great Broncos aren't punished for a sloppy Nix game by Colts How were the Commanders forced into a game by the Saints Davante Adams reminds us all he's still got it All games and teams covered, and we also mention Bill Belichick returning to football, this time College at UNC, plus Griff has the unenviable task of selecting a tough set of QBs for the latest round of Hall of Good…

What can you say about that Rams v Bills game, it was a game where Josh Allen lost, but somehow cemented his MVP case. Puka Nakua on the other hand gave us a reminder of what the Rams have been missing this season. Elsewhere: Eagles struggle to a win Chiefs struggle to a win....again Cousins struggles against the Vikings Lions win the battle of the North Bears do not get an Interim Coach bounce Do we have to talk about the Giants Do we also have to talk about the Raiders Come on, do we have to mention the Jags vs Titans? All games covered, plus our usual awards for Sweetest Play, Sourest Play and a new award for the Kadarious Toney Clown of the Week award.…
