We’re going to nerd out today with a deep dive into powerful Proverbs 18:21— “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." (NIV) I touched on this verse in my last podcast episode, Finding Peace in Christ when Speaking Life with Jane Berry.

I’ll be using some of the questions I usually ask when studying the Bible, but I depart from them a bit to make time to pay tribute to a mentor, Kathy Pietsch, whose Christ-focused life influenced my thoughts and words so powerfully as I considered the words in this verse. She passed into glory this last week.
