Born and raised in West Texas, Mackynlie Conklin's childhood was filled with sports and school. She never thought she would become a pageant girl or a model, but her ambition carried her further than the Midland county line.
Mackynlie is a recent graduate from Howard Payne University with a degree in Strategic Communication and an emphasis in Business Marketing. Currently, she works as a social media manager for a Houston media agency and is also working to start her own digital media agency in the near future.
She co-owns Model Haus LLC, where the focus is on training local models and pageant contestants who cannot outsource to bigger cities or other coaches to get their journeys started.
Mackynlie has had the privilege of competing at Miss Texas USA twice and will be competing for the crown for the third time this summer. She also won Miss Permian Basin USA in 2019.
She is currently represented by the PDX Models Agency in Portland, Oregon, as they look to expand the representation of talent in the south.
