Hey everyone,

Jordan here. It's 7:45 AM, and I've been up since 5:45 working on some ideas for Nicely Studio. Thought I'd take a moment to share what's been on my mind lately.

I'm Jordan Anderson, and today, I'm doing something a little different.

Instead of my usual startup advice, I want to share a more personal story.

It's about how a simple shift in my approach to business changed everything for me – and how you might find similar freedom in your entrepreneurial journey.

Why I'm reflecting on my business at 5:45 AM during my birthday week 🌅

It's September 17th, and I'm turning 32 this Saturday. Usually, this time of year is when I do a lot of reflecting. I don't wait for New Year's resolutions – my birthday is my time to plan for the year ahead.

This morning, I've been up since 5:45, working on stuff for Nice Slice Studio. As I sit here at 7:45, I can't help but think about how different things are now compared to a year ago.

The entrepreneurial hamster wheel that led me to burnout and disillusionment 🔥

Not too long ago, I was juggling multiple projects, constantly chasing the next big thing. My days were filled with:

• Launching product after product

• Running endless ad campaigns

• Feeling guilty about abandoned projects

• Riding the entrepreneurial roller coaster

I struggled to wake up with any sort of excitement. The passion that once fueled me was fading fast.

How a casual conversation sparked the idea for Nice Slice Studio 🚀

Hungry for a change, I decided to start building Nice Slice Studio with my partner, Doran. We didn't have a clear goal – we just knew we needed something different.

We set ourselves a challenge: build a video ad service that could help startups grow. Looking back, it was a bit like "accidental pivoting." We took our experience from our day jobs, distilled it into a service, and offered it to clients who needed it most.

The unexpected message that confirmed we were on the right track 💡

After working with our first few clients, I got a message that changed everything. Someone asked if we could help with their YouTube strategy. Coincidentally, I was working on a YouTube webinar that same week.

I was floored. It felt like confirmation that we were on the right track.

Nine months of intense focus: How I built Nice Slice Studio from the ground up 🧘‍♂️

Fast forward to today. I've spent the last nine months in what I call "monk mode," fully focused on building out Nice Slice Studio.

Here's what I've been up to:

• Moved JordanPAnderson.com to Substack for better reach

• Spent the last 9 months building a funnel for Nice Slice Studio

• Created lead magnets, online courses, and email sequences

• Planned a YouTube webinar to help startup founders grow their businesses

• Migrated all my courses from Podia to Whop.com

Why I'm opening up about my personal entrepreneurial struggles and victories 🤝

You might be wondering, "That's great, Jordan, but why are you telling me this?"

Because I want you to know that it's possible to create the kind of freedom and focus that allows you to build something truly meaningful.

When I stopped chasing every shiny object and committed to one vision, everything changed.

From Million Dollar Edit to Nice Slice Studio: The power of sustainable focus 🎯

Remember Million Dollar Edit, the product I mentioned earlier? That brought in $153,000 – my first big online success.

But it also taught me a valuable lesson about burnout and the importance of sustainable growth.

Now, with Nice Slice Studio, I'm seeing clients achieve real growth, whether they're solopreneurs or running startups.

And the best part? I'm building this business in a way that aligns with my values and long-term vision.

How committing to one vision transformed my business and reignited my passion 🌟

I can confidently say I'm building a business today that I could only dream about four years ago. And none of it would have been possible if I hadn't accidentally ventured into video marketing and decided to stick with it.

That's why I firmly believe focusing on one thing and seeing it through is the best decision any entrepreneur can make.

Three ways you can apply my lessons to create a more fulfilling entrepreneurial path 🚀

If you're looking to:

• Build something that lasts

• Create a career with real impact

• Find a truly fulfilling entrepreneurial path

I encourage you to take that first step. Commit to your vision, just like I did with Nice Slice Studio.

Looking Ahead…

I'm all in on Nice Slice Studio now. No more jumping from project to project. I'm thinking in terms of two-year goals now, which feels both exciting and daunting.

Thanks for letting me share this personal update. I'm excited to see where this journey takes us next.

I'm considering making these updates a regular thing. Maybe daily? Maybe weekly? Let me know if this is something you'd find valuable.

As always, I appreciate you taking the time to read this. Your support means a lot, even if I don't always say it.

Cheers,

Jordan

P.S. If you missed the memo about the move to Whop.com, no worries. Just drop me a line, and I'll get you sorted.
