In this episode, Jessica discusses how moving to remote work led her to being diagnosed with ADHD and how this was a relief.

Jessica would be happy never to go back to a typical office as Jessica thrives working comfortably at home, whereas Candice needs social interaction. They both agreed they were more productive working from home though.

If you’re looking to move to a job that has remote or hybrid work, make sure it’s in writing and clear (especially if you’re an EA) on how much flexibility you have in working Hybrid e.g. do you need to be in the office when your Executive is in the office. Be clear on what you’re signing up for and if you have specifics like you need to leave by 3.00pm, get that in writing so there’s never an issue when you need to either work from home or leave “early” as management changes, but signed contracts do not.
