What began with a cry of forsakenness now ends with a declaration of righteousness and completion: “He has done this.” Blair Phillips and Brother Daniel reflect on how this final verse echoes Jesus’ triumphant cry from the cross — “It is finished.”
The story that started in anguish ends in victory. Generations yet unborn will hear of the righteousness of God and the finished work of Christ.
