With a repertoire that can light up a stage for anywhere from 30 minutes to an electrifying 2 hours, Artelia Green channels inspirations from legends like Parliament Funkadelic, Lauryn Hill, The Roots, and more. They narrate a timeless tale of love, healing, and transcendence. Artelia Green's latest album, "In No Particular Order," is a masterpiece that exemplifies their essence. The titular track "INPO" hails the legacy of hip-hop, while songs like "Harriet's Brim" explore the depths of oft overlooked history, and “Ghetto Children Funk" pays homage to the indomitable spirit of youth from the hood. With tracks like "Sugarman," they offer a discerning look at the music industry, and with songs like "Intuition" and "Yarrow Fades," they traverse the intricate landscapes of love, loss, and healing. A standout piece, "Cashmere," a tribute to Tiffani Marie’s daughter, encapsulates the whirlwind of emotions surrounding the genesis of new life. She is a university professor, mother, and also filmmaker as she produced "The Children Could Fly": A documentary I produced featuring music from Artelia Green & the Bandanas.
