Octavio Pisano joined Law & Order: SVU in its 23rd season as Junior Detective Joe Velasco, a former undercover officer from Mexico who now works with the NYPD’s Special Victims Unit. During his time on the show, he’s had numerous opportunities to interact with the series’ star, Mariska Hargitay, both on-screen and off.
