Welcome to Take Your Time, a Persona 5 podcast by Jonathon Dornbush and Tom Marks in which the duo will be playing Persona 5 Strikers in sort of real time, but not quite as in real time as our Persona 5 Royal playthrough. Tom and Jonathon continue their P5 Strikers podcast series with episode 2, focused on July 31 - August 2, as the Phantom Thieves hit the road and venture away from home for their new adventure.
After addressing Tom's dual Pop Quiz questions and some viewer comments from last week, we dive into the aftermath of Alice's Jail as the Phantom Thieves discuss what to do next in Persona 5 Strikers. With a camper and an agreement with Zenkichi, they hit the open road and plan their trip, hoping to pick up new Jails and Monarchs along the way, and have some fun summer break times along the way.
The duo digs into the Phantom Thieves' arrival in Sendai and the discovery of a new potential Monarch, while discussing what it's like to have the Phantom Thieves travel outside the world we knew in Persona 5. Jonathon and Tom discuss what they like so far about the introduction to cooking, this new location, and how the story is intriguingly mirroring but evolving Persona 5's emotional beats. Tom also offers his pop quiz question and more.
