In the United States, the Federal Reserve has announced a supersized cut, slashing interest rates by half a percentage point. It's a similar situation in the UK where they're preparing to welcome a second-rate cut this year. Meanwhile, here in Australia, we're yet to see any relief since the current rate hike cycle began.
