What are you going to do about it? This question calls us to respond to daily opportunities for compassion and generosity. The story of the feeding of the five thousand illustrates God’s providence, faith, and thanksgiving. It highlights Christ’s care for both physical and spiritual needs and shows that even small offerings—like the boy’s five loaves and two fish—can be multiplied by God’s grace to meet great needs.…

This week’s Bible study elaborates on the reality of how God weighs the soul. There is a scale that measures righteousness and foolishness. One side measures acts of justice, love and service and the other side measures sin and iniquity. Man’s eyes may deceive him into seeing his righteous works to be of value while God searches his spirit.…
“Why did I ever come out of the womb to see trouble and sorrow and to end my days in shame?” Jeremiah 20:18 3 INCORRECT CONCLUSIONS: - I’ll never be happy again - Nothing good can come from this - There’s no point in trying anymore
The founder of all ethics and morals is the Christian faith. This week guides us through the fruit of a loving union with God. It makes God pleased with us hence even our enemies are at peace with us. God then guides His steps even though man’s heart may plan other things and have aspirations. He fills everything with His grace, even our ability to pray to Him. When God takes over one’s life in such a way, the person bears wisdom which allows him to navigate all situations in his life whether that be work life, interpersonal relationships, and holding onto the present moment so tightly as it is a gift of God. We conclude this week by looking at the fruit of inner wisdom that is – the tongue. Wisdom starts with heading to words that are being spoken then with sweetness questioning back or answering.…

Throughout this series entitled A Life of Authenticity, we may be equipped to live with genuine faith, confidence in Christ, and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. In part 2, Fr. Michael Sorial discusses how fear of people or circumstances robs us of authenticity; true freedom comes from fearing God alone.…

1 God Made Known: The Invisible Father Revealed Through the Son [The Feast of Theophany Sermon - 2025] 19:16
During the Feast of Theophany, the Coptic Orthodox Church reads John 1. Humanity has always longed to see God. When we grasp that Jesus reveals the Father, it changes everything. Listen to Fr. Michael's message:
In this heartfelt and reflective sermon, Fr. Paul takes us on a journey through the story of Jacob, encouraging us to return to our Bethel moments—those pivotal encounters with God’s love that transformed our lives. Through the lens of Genesis 35, he unpacks the importance of repentance, removing idols, and reclaiming our identity as children of God. Prepare your heart for the Fast of the Ninevites and rediscover the peace and joy of walking with God. Perfect for anyone seeking spiritual renewal and encouragement in their faith journey.…
In this inspiring sermon, Fr. Mark reflects on St. Augustine’s challenge: “Many are seeking Jesus, but few are seeking Him for Himself.” Using John 6 and lessons from Jonah’s story, he examines the motives of our hearts and asks whether we are seeking Christ for His presence or merely for His gifts. As we prepare for Jonah’s Fast, this talk invites us to pursue a deeper, more personal relationship with Jesus and to follow Him wholeheartedly, just as Joshua did. Perfect for anyone seeking clarity and renewal in their spiritual journey during this sacred time.…
Fr. David reminds us of God’s unwavering promise that all who come to Him with faith and repentance will never be rejected. He highlights Christ’s boundless love and uses the story of Jonah and Nineveh as a powerful example of true repentance. Though Nineveh was a sinful city, when its people humbled themselves and turned to God, He showed them mercy and spared them. This teaches us that no matter our past, when we seek the Lord with sincerity, He welcomes us with open arms. Through this message, we are called to trust in God’s mercy, repent wholeheartedly, and embrace His grace.…
Fr. Yacoub teaches us that through St. John the Baptist’s humility and asceticism, he recognised his role was to prepare the way for Christ, saying, “He must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30). His life of self-denial and devotion to God shows that true greatness comes not from seeking personal glory, but from humbling ourselves before God. When we seek God’s glory above our own, He fills us with His grace and allows Christ to increase within us. St. John’s example calls us to live with humility and surrender to God’s will.…
Nehemiah 1 recounts Nehemiah’s deep sorrow upon hearing about the ruined state of Jerusalem. In response, he fasts, mourns, and prays, confessing both personal and communal sins while pleading for God’s mercy and the restoration of His people. His prayer reflects humility, faith, and reliance on God’s promises. Nehemiah’s example teaches the importance of sincere repentance, intercession, and trust in God’s plan, showing that true restoration begins with prayer and a heart aligned with His will.…
Fr. Elijah highlights the importance of honesty in our spiritual lives. The disciples wrongly assumed they knew why the man was born blind, but Jesus corrected them, showing that only God knows the full truth. The blind man humbly admitted, “I do not know,” in contrast to the Pharisees, who made false judgments. This teaches us to avoid assumptions, trust in God's wisdom, and refrain from judging others. By acknowledging our limitations, we open ourselves to God's truth and guidance, rather than being blinded by pride.…

In times of suffering and uncertainty, we often find ourselves asking, 'Why?'. Tune in as Fr David reminds us that even in our deepest pain, God is at work, using suffering as a megaphone to call us closer to Him. Who is truly in control of their lives? As Christ says to us, 'we cannot even make one hair on our head grey'. Let us turn to God for He is the only One who is in control.
This week Father Yacoub speaks to us about the spirituality of self control in the context of our physical health and appearance and how all our goals and aspirations should never be separated from God.
