I’ve been doing this direct-to-consumer thing long before it was even a thing, creating one of the first ever menswear brands natively online back in 2004 - The Tie Bar.
Built it. Sold it. Tried something new.
Co-founded Thread Experiment in 2015, a home bedding brand designed for men. Another DTC brand that’s still going strong today.
Then in 2019, I acquired Beau Ties of Vermont, a leading DTC men’s accessories brand that makes most of its products right here in the U.S. I've worked hard to bring this 30-year old brand back to its former glory and have had a lot of fun doing it.
I also teach Entrepreneurship at the Florida Atlantic University College of Business and periodically do speaking engagements, where I share my experiences with others so that they can pursue the dream that I am fortunate enough to be living.
