This episode will be shorter than usual as I know we all have busy schedules around Christmas.
I have a couple of special treats for you from my friend and fellow Mayberry fan, Russell Estes. Russell is a bestselling author and motivational speaker known for his Christian and inspirational books, which often incorporate Southern humor. His writing is a blend personal storytelling with inspirational themes and faith-based lessons. He often incorporates The Andy Griffith Show into his stories.
Russell has attended the Mayberry Comes to Scottsburg held in Scottsburg, Ind. Inspired by that event, he wrote a song called “A Mayberry Smile.” He used artificial intelligence (AI) to both play the music and sing the lyrics he had written.
During the holidays, Russell caught the bug again and put pen to paper writing “A Mayberry Christmas.” Again, using AI (because he says that “like ol’ Barn, I’m a good guy…but I can’t sing“) he created a real treat for all of the Mayberry family.
