That is exactly how I would greet my students at the start of every week. If they had a good weekend, great! If they didn't, they needed to know that it was a new day and that things could get better.
Sometimes, we can carry the burdens of yesterday and the imagined burdens of tomorrow while not appreciating today. I hope this episode helps you take today for what it is: a blessing and a new opportunity to do things differently.
