This week we decided to have a bit of fun. We pitted Man (Tom) versus Machine (David) in an EFL Championship Results Prediction Challenge!!
Tom decides to rely on his 'intuition' and 'gut feel' while David puts together a simple algorithm to try and find the best way to objectively predict the winners and losers of the upcoming weekend results.
We recorded this on a Tuesday afternoon prior the midweek fixtures so the picture may have become even more exciting by the time this episode is released.
We find out that Tom is escaping to sunny Portugal right at the business end of the season.... which isn't ideal..... but i'm sure he'll feel ok about it once he's been sat by the pool for five minutes. :)
So let the games commence!! Let's see how the weekend unfolds and who wins... Will it be David 'The Machine' Bromley or Tom 'The......Man' Butterfield.
