Then, the plaintiff has known the defendant for decades. The defendant hired the plaintiff to repair his computer. However, the defendant failed to pay, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant claims the plaintiff failed to properly fix the computer, so he had to buy a new one.
Plus, the plaintiffs' cat urinated on their furniture, and they hired the defendant to reupholster the chairs. However, when the chairs were returned, they still smelled bad, so the plaintiffs are suing. The defendant claims he spent months stripping the chairs and reupholstering them. He believes he did a fantastic job, and they were odor-free. The defendant is countersuing for the cost of fabric.
