Part 1:
We talk with Mel Goodman. We discuss the situation in Israel, and how many people seem to want war to spread. Netanyahu has created the horror in Gaza, killing civilians, and practicing genocide. Yemen has been bombed by the US, perhaps as a warning to Iran. Biden has refused to meet with an Arab-American group in Michigan, a bad move. We discuss the various failed states in the Middle East, and how Biden's support of Israel will hurt the US in future.
Part 2:
We talk with Mark Joseph Stern about the court rulings in Pennsylvania and Oregon. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that Pennsylvania's Equal Rights Amendment was being violated by any attack on women's rights, and they countered also that such attacks are misogynistic in their nature.
We also discuss Oregon's court ruling that those Oregon state representatives who were absent during deliberations were not eligible to run for their offices again for the next cycle. This applies to Republican representatives, since they were the ones who chose this way to thwart the business of Oregon government.
