• Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week and Manning Award Player of the Week after leading Utah back from a 14-point deficit to beat No. 18 Arizona State.
• Went 21-of-33 passing (2 INT) for 247 yards against Arizona State, throwing for two touchdowns while also rushing for 59 yards (6 carries) and a touchdown.
• Was 17-of-22 for 214 yards (2 TDs) and a career-high 92 rushing yards (1 TD) against Ohio State in the Rose Bowl.
• Scored through the air and on the ground in Utah’s win over UCLA, throwing for 179 yards (17-27-0) and a touchdown, while rushing for 63 yards (6 carries) and a touchdown.
• Threw for three touchdowns against Colorado, going 14-of-23 passing (1 INT) for 179 yards.
• Went 10-of-18 passing for 178 yards against No. 3 Oregon, also scoring a rushing touchdown for the second straight game.
• Was 15-of-24 (2 INT) for 170 yards and a touchdown against Oregon in the Pac-12 Championship Game, adding nine rushes for 61 yards.
• Was 19-of-32 (0 INT) with 153 passing yards and three passing TDs against San Diego State in the second half when he entered the game with 5:25 to go in the third quarter.

2020: Played in one game, starting against No. 20 USC before suffering a season-ending injury.3-of-6 passing for 45 yards (1 INT) against USC.

2019: Redshirt.

Prior to Utah: Redshirted at Texas in 2018.Named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll in spring 2018.

High School: No. 8 pro-style quarterback in the nation by Rivals and four-star recruit by Rivals and 247Sports out of Newbury Park HS.Two-time first-team All-CIF (2015, 2017).

• 2017 All-Camino League Offensive Back of the Year.
• First-team all-county and all-league.
• MaxPreps Sophomore All-American and Cal-Hi Sports Sophomore of the Year in 2015.
• Set a county record for attempts without an interception (324).
• 123-of-237 passing for 1,689 yards (15 TD, 6 INT) and 62 carries for 496 yards and nine touchdowns rushing as a senior.
• Played in only five games as a junior due to a season-ending injury, going 88-of-143 passing for 1,349 yards (14 TD, 4 INT) with 47 carries for 390 yards and four touchdowns.
• Threw for 3,213 yards and 40 touchdowns (191-of-319) with just one interception as a sophomore and rushed for 756 yards (79 carries) and 11 touchdowns.
• Also competed in track.
