Kolby's journey began when he fell out of love with his corporate IT management job and started a career coaching business. He discovered his knack for effective communication, connection, and self-advocacy, and decided to help others do the same. Over a decade, he assisted over 4,000 people, delivered over 200 keynotes and workshops, and identified a glaring issue in the corporate world - poor hiring practices.
Kolby noticed that many managers, whether unintentionally or intentionally, were driving away talented individuals. Good companies were turning into bad ones, and capable managers were becoming frustrated due to ineffective hiring practices. Drawing from his client experiences, Kolby sought to help companies and leaders better communicate their needs, identify rock star candidates, and onboard them in a way that empowers both parties.
