×What does it mean to truly rest, and why does Jesus challenge the religious rules around the Sabbath? In this message, we explore two powerful moments where Jesus redefines rest, exposes religious hypocrisy, and invites us into a deeper rhythm of life. Discover how Sabbath is not a burden, but a beautiful gift from God, an invitation to worship, restoration, and relationship. If you're weary or running on empty, this message is for you. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28 Watch now and rediscover the heart of Sabbath.…
This message is about fasting, but not in the way you think. It’s not about guilt, rules, or spiritual performance. Through Mark 2, we explore how fasting isn’t just about going without food, but about rediscovering joy, peace, and deeper intimacy with God. Jesus challenges the old mindsets around fasting and invites us into a new way, where fasting becomes a life-giving spiritual rhythm, not a burdensome ritual. If you’ve ever struggled with fasting or felt distant from God, this message is for you. Listen now and let God reset your heart.…
What’s more amazing — healing or forgiveness? Whether you're exploring faith or looking for fresh hope, this is a message you won’t want to miss.…

Drawing from Mark 1:35-39 and other key scriptures, we discover how Jesus’ dependence on the Father shapes our own prayer life today. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, dry, or simply seeking a deeper rhythm of connection with God, this talk offers practical encouragement and biblical insight to help you grow in prayer. Listen now to be inspired and equipped to follow Jesus in a life of prayer.…
Why do some people get healed while others don’t, even when we pray with all our heart? In this honest and hope-filled message, we explore the healing ministry of Jesus and what it means for us today. Discover how faith, compassion, and the Kingdom of God come together, and why we are still called to pray for healing even when we don’t understand the outcome. Listen now and be encouraged to risk, reach, and rejoice in God’s power and presence.…
What if the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing us he doesn't exist? In this powerful message from Mark 1:21-28, we see Jesus confront a demon head on with just a word. But this moment is more than just a dramatic exorcism. It’s a window into a deeper, ongoing cosmic war between the kingdom of God and the forces of darkness. Many today dismiss spiritual evil as myth or superstition—but Jesus didn’t. And neither should we. This sermon explores why acknowledging the supernatural is essential to fully grasping Jesus’ mission, how the Bible frames this spiritual battle, and what it means for us to join God’s victory using the weapons of Word and Spirit. Listen now to wake up to the unseen battle and learn how to stand strong in the truth.…
In this fourth message, we arrive at a powerful moment in Mark 1:16-20 — the calling of Jesus’ first disciples. It’s here that the beautiful mystery of the Church begins, not at Pentecost, but with a simple yet life-changing invitation: “Follow me, and I will make you become…” This talk dives into what it really means to follow Jesus — how he chooses us, transforms us, and calls us into something greater than ourselves. Whether you’re exploring faith or have walked with Jesus for years, this message is a reminder that the call still stands today. Listen now and be encouraged: It’s not about being perfect — it’s about saying yes to following Him.…
In just six powerful verses, Mark reveals the beginning of Jesus’ ministry — from His baptism to His testing in the wilderness, and the launch of His world-changing message: “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” Discover what these verses reveal about Jesus’ identity, His humanity, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the call to live out your faith with purpose and confidence. Listen now and be encouraged in your walk with Jesus.…
John the Baptist models true humility. Are we pointing people to ourselves? Or are we pointing them to Jesus? In a world obsessed with platform and visibility, are we willing to say: “It’s not about me”? Are we open to the Spirit’s baptism — to a life shaped not by striving, but by surrender?
We will give ourselves an overview / introduction to Mark's gospel and see why such an overall understanding is helpful. We will ask the standard questions we would ask if we were in college studying a gospel: Who wrote it? When did they write it? Why did they write it? And then we will ask the questions that disciples should always ask: Why do the answers to these questions matter? How does it equip me to live in the good of my identity and calling as an image bearer and a Kingdom bringer?…
The church is meant to be both a gathered people and a scattered or “sent” people. Our goal is to hold all four of these aspects of the Kingdom together: Salvation | Sanctification | Signs & Wonders | Social Action. And by doing so, to keep the dual emphasis of the church gathered and the church scattered. If we just gather, we end up inward looking holy cliques. If we just scatter, we easily lose sight of worship and community.…
It is within this redemption story in Revelation 21, this meta-narrative, that the church eternal, global, and local, should find its vision and values. God created perfect community out of divine community. So, God’s redemption plan is a community plan. Here at Everyday Church, we articulate this vision in seven words: Son | Father | Spirit | Grace | Community | Kingdom | Love…
Easter Sunday is the most joyful celebration in the Christian faith: the resurrection of Jesus. Death has been defeated, and hope is restored. The empty tomb declares that Jesus is alive, and because he lives, we also have eternal life. Take some time now to reflect on the significance of the resurrection — it’s the foundation of our faith. In the power of the resurrection we are reconciled to God, restored in relationship with our fellow man, and called to declare redemption and reconciliation to the world around us. We can live in the victory of Christ's resurrection and share the good news with others.…
We have been looking at the ‘8 Days That Changed The World’. The 8 days that culminate with Easter Sunday. We are going to be asking ourselves to consider what it might mean if the Easter accounts are true. What it might mean if Jesus really did rise from the dead, and what does that mean for our world today?…
Holy Saturday is a day of waiting. The disciples and followers of Jesus were in a place of uncertainty, grief, and confusion. The body of Jesus lay in the tomb, and it seemed as though all hope was lost. But even in the silence and waiting, God was at work. As we wait for God to break in in resurrection power, consider other areas of your life where you are still waiting for God to break in. Commit to trust in God again for these areas and ask for fresh faith to believe in his promises and be expectant of his power.…
