It was a cold, winter afternoon on Ahway Island. The snow fell heavily from the sky and made a deep blanket that covered all the grass and streets in town. All the neighborhood kids were inside keeping warm, and the Parker family was no exception.

In her warm living room, Emily Parker was playing with her big brother, Billy. Even though they both loved to play in the snow, they decided to stay inside because it was just too frigid and windy outdoors. Emily could hear the brisk air whistling wildly around her house.

Today’s Meditation: Picture floating in the safe and comforting waters of a tranquil pool.
