*CULTURAL NOTE: During the podcast, we talk about Beata being a 'Duck' and a 'Beaver'. If you don't know what this means, it means that the University of Oregon (in Eugene, Oregon) has as its mascot the duck. So students who go or did go to school there are called 'Ducks'. Oregon State University (in Corvallis, Oregon) has as its mascot a beaver, so students who go or did go to school there are called 'Beavers'. Colleges and Universities across the United States have mascots associated with their schools. Here at Seattle Colleges, each campus has their own mascot: North = Tree Frog, Central = Tiger, and South = Sea Otter. The University of Washington = Huskies, the University of Arizona = Wildcats... And so on.
