In this episode, Scott delves into the journey of finding safety and love by processing buried emotions through present moment awareness. He shares his experience of identifying with sadness and other vulnerable emotions in relationships, and expressing those feelings to people close to him.
Scott reflects on how he believed that his suffering—rooted in hurt, grief, and sadness—was the entirety of his existence from childhood until the age of 40. However, after awakening to non-dual awareness in 2007, he noticed that much of the hurt and sadness began to fade, albeit with a few triggers remaining. This journey ultimately revealed a bypass of buried anger that had prevented him from discovering his authenticity. It was only through processing this buried anger that Scott could truly find safety and love within himself.
