In "Armageddon part 2" Barry has very little time to prove to the alien Despero that he won't lose his mind and destroy the world. When a bank guard begins to lose his mind, the team thinks it may be connected to the scenario Despero has described. After discovering that a powerful telepathic meta named Xotar is responsible, Barry goes after her, only to find himself attacking his friend and destroying his home. And then, without warning, STAR Labs is ordered to be closed down and demolished. Without a home or a clue as to Barry's odd blackouts, it looks like Despero may have been correct.
