In this episode we're joined by Professor Hilde Coffé, from the University of Bath, to talk about the history, implications and roles of women in the far right. Focusing on Western Europe, Hilde's research looks at voting behaviour, policy decisions and public views of far right parties and radical right parties. We discuss the potential reasons for the gender gap in the far right, why some women still lean towards patriarchal, often mysoginistic, political parties and what has changed throughout the years in the countries she's observed.
