Welcome to Episode 24! It's been a while :)
In this episode, we talk to Benon Sevan, who retired as Under-Secretary General of the United Nations after a 40-year career. Benon was shared some of his favourite stories from Papua New Guinea, his 4 near-death experiences at the hands of insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as some insight as to what Kofi Annan was like as a friend.
We've unfortunately had to slow down on episodes due to personal constraints (aka there aint much wifi in the jungle) but as we get back to our normal living in a couple weeks from this being written, that should change over the summer.
