Vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians, omnivores and carnivores unite! Let us discuss honestly the controversial question of what we should be eating. I offer my views on the pros and cons of each of these diets, in terms of optimising health and ecological flourishing while minimising the suffering of sentient beings. The core theme is that there are many roads up the mountain and we can and should and must learn to engage each other respectfully, accepting our differences and focusing on the common ground upon which we can begin to make practical changes to transform our world into a little bit more of a paradise.
