Welcome to Episode 48 of Reel Travels. I'm your host, Lisa Iannucci and I'm the author of On Location: A Film and TV Lover's Travel Guide. Today I'll update you on some of the film and TV festivals that are taking place this year and those that have moved to 2022 or been canceled. Also, my guest on today’s episode of Reel Travels is actress and producer Susan Gallagher. You might know her from her work as Val on Queering or her roles in Safe Harbor, or The InBetweeners. She’s appeared in (among many other things) the film Strange Weather (2016) opposite Holly Hunter, Bloodline (2015) opposite Kyle Chandler, and Lifetime's The Christmas Contract (2018) opposite Hilarie Burton. Other lead roles have included working in female-driven films Doorstep (2019) and Windblown (2019). Susan also played a woman with the early onset of Alzheimer's in I'll Be Here for a While (2019). In 2014, she formed her own production company Her Little Red Productions, Llc,. a female-run production company focusing on female-driven projects. And, of course, she is currently in Karate Kid’s Cobra Kai as Lynn, otherwise known as the homeless woman and we are going to talk about all of this and more! Did you like the show? Let me know!
