In 2010, Shirley began a research project fuelled by her passion for plant research and a desire to enhance the ancestral cosmetic virtues of the Banana tree which led to the creation of Kadalys in 2012, the first eco-conscious brand to harness expertise in banana science aimed at preserving the youthfulness of the skin.
