They've got the best defence in the Premier League, whilst only Tottenham Hotspur have outscored them going the other way. Top of the Premier League and top of the new Champions League table, it has been an incredible start from Arne Slot's side by anybody's standards.

We take a look at what has changed to give Liverpool that element of increased control, as well as how certain players have visibly improved under his stewardship.
