This week, I will discuss the disgraceful state of affairs in East Palestine and the causes. To borrow a phrase, the 'inconvenent truth' lies in the fact that all this was inevitable--and preventable. Though this statement seems contradictory, it isn't if you consider the full political context. The environmental disaster in East Palestine was preventable, had the railroads been FORCED to upgrade braking systems dating back to the CIvil War, and other safety precautions. The incident was also inevitable given our political system which has legalized bribery and other forms of influence peddling by politicians of both major parties. So, how did the railroad get away with this enviromental crime? They had plenty of help from corporate media soft pedaling the situation, and public relations campaigns blatantly conning the public.The corporate media also distracted us with the grandstanding of Donald Trump visiting East Palestine and doling out 'Trump Water', (as if he actually invented H20)! These distractions serve as a shield protection corporate criminals and it has to stop. The actual facts were relayed by independent media such as David SIrota's publicaiton, The Lever, and international publications such as The Guardian. I will discuss this outrageous state of affairs. I will also discuss the immorality of those who reject 'WOKE.' And of course we have our Jackass of the Week! Come join me. Jeanine
