Sonia was the Press Secretary and Director of Public Information for the New York City Department of Finance, the editorial director at Black Enterprise (BE), and the founding editorial director of their Women of Power Summit. At BE, she broke several exclusive cover stories, including those on Oprah Winfrey, Ursula Burns, and “Black and Gay in Corporate America,” which won a GLAAD award.
