The absolutely adorable Dr. Mayava Clark has started an app and online school for kids to learn how to behave online and learn how protect themselves.
Phones for all children are exposing them to pedophiles, rude behaviour, pornography and images that are simply too complex for the level of psychological development. We go back to the same math problem, if parents are on their phones 4-5 hours a day and kids are on their phones or devices 4-8 hours a day, when are families bonding, talking teaching and playing?
That is 160hrs/month, 1800 hours/ year NOT learning the following:
- Learning social skills
- Learning self awareness or EI
- Learning SELF TALk
- Experiencing social situations
- Exercising, playing and learning vital skills to be teachable, coachable, employable.
- These skills are now more important than academic skills
