In a night club on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, a sharply dressed man, with the nickname of "Ginger" is standing against a wall several feet from the piano player observing what went on at the bar. After a half hour or so, he walks across the floor to the office door in the back of the club. He opens the door and says "Hutch? He says "Come in, Ginger. How's business out there?" Ginger says "Slow, but that redhead is at the bar again". Hutch says "Yeah?" Ginger says "Yeah, she walked in about ten minutes ago alone, but I guarantee you she won't go out alone. She started working a guy already. What do you want me to do, throw her out?" Hutch says "Bring her in here. I want to talk to her". Ginger says "What she need is a good boot and then...." Hutch says "Ginger!" He says "I'll get her". Hutch says "Wait a second". Ginger asks "What's this going to be, another lecture?" Hutch says "It's going to be the same lecture. This has got to be a clean joint, Ginger. I don't want nobody kicked around. Let the others live on rough stuff. This joint has got to stay without bruises". Ginger says "Okay, I'll go home get my kid gloves". Hutch says "If there's any kicking around to be done here, I'll do it myself. Just watch out you're not on the receiving end. Now, go get her". Ginger says "Yeah, okay Hutch". Ginger goes up to the redhead and says "You, sister, come on". The guy she was talking to says "Now, see here. Leave the lady alone". Ginger says "Pal, I'm doing you a favor, believe me. She's a lush worker. You're better off. Harry, drink on the house for this gentleman". The guy says "Thanks a lot". Ginger says "The boss wants to see you". He takes her back to the office. Ginger says "Here she is, Hutch". Hutch says "Sit down, sister. She says "What is the beef? Just tell me and let me get out of here". Hutch says "It's very simple. I don't care how many drunks you roll or how much you take off them, more power to you, just don't set up your marks in my place".
