COTA are the peak body for people aged 50 and over in South Australia. COTA SA has been operational since 1957 and represents the rights, interests and futures of the more than 700,000 older South Australians. COTA SA differs from ARAS in that we advocate to Governments and other decision makers on behalf of all older people in South Australia to ensure voices, experiences and needs are heard and considered in legislation, policy, service design and development, both in South Australia, and nationally through COTA Australia.
