Gary & Winnie Whitmore with TWR have served God for over forty years in places like Bonaire, Guam, Singapore, and Hong Kong. After his first wife died in labor giving birth to their son, Gary quickly became a widow with a newborn living in a different country. It was through long-distance letter writing that Gary and Winnie were introduced and eventually led to their marriage. Knowing the pain and hardships before surrendering to God’s call on our lives isn’t an option. Gary likens it to a “blank check” that we sign and telling God however and whatever I will serve you. We don’t know exactly what lies ahead, but we know that God is faithful no matter the storm and gives joy in the journey.
