Wes Chandler is the Founder and President of WCTE, a company launched in 2019 with an interest in the Biopharmaceutical market focused on Chromatic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) which is often found in NFL Players, Boxes, Soccer Players and Military Veterans suffering from PTSD. Mr. Chandler’s professional athletic and business background began when he was drafted by the New Orleans Saints with the third overall pick in the 1978 NFL draft, the 4 time Pro Bowler and All Pro performer has over 37 years of football and business experience that includes eleven NFL seasons as a player, coaching stints at the University of Central Florida, University of California Berkeley, NFL Europe (one as Head coach of the Berlin Thunder), the Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns. Some of his crowning achievements are his induction into the San Diego Chargers hall of Fame in 2001, the (SEC) South Eastern Conference Hall of Fame in 2013 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 2015. He is the NFL record holder of average yards per game in a season by a wide receiver of 129.7. His off the field work has been a Player Representative for the Saints, Chargers and 49ers, he also served as an Executive committee member for 9 years, he was one of 7 players to serve and represent the 1600 NFL players in that capacity which included the negotiations with NFL owners. From 2013 to 2017 he served as President of MLFB, Major League Football, a league he help design to fill the gap between college and the NFL, a developmental pipeline for players, coaches, officials, trainers and management. His drive is passion for philanthropy and helping others ---- especially youth and their success in life. He has worked on numerous scholarship funds to help students from all walks of life as well as numerous charitable events throughout the United States.
