The Hurricanes come off a physical scrimmage over the weekend with linebacker Wesley Bissainthe and freshman tight end Elija Lofton among the standouts. Starting quarterback Cam Ward continues to play well, while the competition for his backup appears to be down to fellow transfer Reese Poffenbarger and sophomore Emory Williams.
