This week, your hosts wrap up Pride month with Wicked Beauty by Katee Robert. Helen has spent her entire life under scrutiny in Olympus, and with her father dead and her siblings now the new Zeus and Aphrodite, she is desperate to step out of their shadows. When Zeus announces that Helen will wed the winner of the contest for the next Ares, Helen determines that to live on her own terms, she will have to become Ares. Achilles and Patroclus have been together for years, and Achilles enters the contest to become Ares with Patroclus backing him up to get him that position. However, they’re both drawn to Helen’s beauty and intelligence and when her life is put in danger, they band together to keep her safe, at least until the next challenge. When their attraction rapidly intensifies though, Helen is left wondering if she can really trust them, or embrace a life with them, and still get what she wants.
