Egypt Howard (she/her/hers) currently serves as a Program Coordinator in the Office of Student Diversity Programs. She holds an M.A. in Social Science as well B.A. in Multicultural and Gender studies with a minor in African American studies from California State University, Chico. Egypt’s previous experience as an Assistant Program Coordinator allowed her to be able to work with students from various cultural backgrounds. She helped to develop programs both on and off-campus while finding ways to support their voices being heard and represented on their campus. Her research passions include leadership and Blackness, Black students' experiences within higher education, and the matrix of domination in regards to working moms (second shifting). She enjoys playing video games with her family, watching basketball, cooking new and unique dishes, and swimming in her downtime.
