La Mecque est la meilleure des terres et la plus aimée d’Allah. Elle abrite la Mosquée sacrée et la Kaaba dont Allah a fait la qibla (direction de la prière) des musulmans partout dans le monde. Ils se tournent vers ce lieu au moins cinq fois par jour par obéissance à Allah et en réponse à Son appel. C’est la terre des Prophètes (sur eux la paix d’Allah), la Station de notre père Ibrahim (sur lui la paix d’Allah), et le lieu où notre Prophète Muhammad (sur lui la paix d’Allah) reçut la révélation. Voici l’énumération de quelques mérites de La Mecque, la ville aimée par tous les musulmans sincères.
