Adding LOVE To Our Faith

We study, pray, and meditate on how we can be growing and fruitful members of God’s kingdom.

2 Peter opens with wisdom in how to do just that!

Are we putting the work in?

Summary of our discussion points:• Virtue – striving for moral excellence, Phil.4:8-9

• Knowledge – “learn from Me” – Jesus, Matt. 11:29
• Self-control – “In your patience possess ye your souls” Lk 21:19
• Steadfastness – Moses in the wilderness, Job under trials, My own temptations
• Godliness - holds promise in this life & the life to come, 1 Tim 4:7-8
• Brotherly affection – outdo one another in showing honor to each other, Rom. 12:10
• Love – “love one another earnestly with a pure heart”, 1 Pet. 1:22
