1 Episode 1413 - Jarvis Kingston He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. -Psalms 147:3 & Psalm 3:5 Hulk Hogan Thailand UN 15:01
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 3:5 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. -Psalms 147:3 DEVOTION Based on Psalm 147:3 God is not just aware of our brokenness—He actively heals it. Like a tender physician, He does not just diagnose our pain but treats it with gentle hands. The binding of wounds speaks of careful, personal attention. He does not heal from a distance but comes close enough to touch our hurt. Whether your heart is broken by loss, betrayal, or disappointment, the Great Physician is at work. Healing may not be instant, but it is certain. The One who binds wounds knows exactly how to restore what has been shattered. Your broken pieces are safe in His healing hands. He specializes in hearts others have given up on. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are the Great Physician who specializes in broken hearts. Your healing touch reaches places no earthly medicine can go. You mend what seems beyond repair. CONFESSION: I confess I have sometimes tried to heal myself or hidden my wounds from You. I have doubted Your ability or willingness to heal my deepest hurts. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for caring about every broken piece of my heart. Thank You for Your gentle touch that binds up wounds with such tenderness. I am grateful that no hurt is too deep for Your healing. SUPPLICATION: Father, I bring You my broken heart and wounded spirit. Bind up the places that still bleed with pain. Help me to trust Your healing process, even when it is slow. Use my healing to help me comfort others with the comfort I have received from You. PRAYER “My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.” PSALM 3:5 Dear Lord, You are as steady as the rising sun. You are dependable, faithful, and always follow through. I want my rising and moving to be predictably passionate for Your name. May my voice of praises to You in the morning be something You can count on. Help me to develop holy habits of prayer and thanksgiving every day, so I can fully step into the calling You have for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…

1 Episode 1412 - Jarvis Kingston It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High Psalms 92:1 ! 15:01
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 92:1 A TIME FOR EVERYTHING 1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. Every day, people around the world suffer simply for holding on to their faith. Many face rejection, violence, and fear-yet they continue to stand firm in what they believe. DEVOTION Based on Ecclesiastes 3:1,4 Life flows in seasons, and each has its purpose under God’s sovereignty. This wisdom frees us from the pressure to be perpetually happy. There is a time for tears—they are not a failure of faith but a natural season of the soul. Anxiety often comes from resisting the season we are in, wishing for spring during winter. But God is present in every season. The same God who gives songs in the night will bring dancing in the morning. Trust the rhythms of grace. Your current season is not your permanent address. Even in the season of weeping, God is working, preparing the soil of your heart for future joy. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: God, You are the Lord of all seasons, the One who sets times and boundaries. Your wisdom orchestrates the rhythm of our lives with perfect timing. CONFESSION: I confess I have resisted the difficult seasons, wanting to skip ahead to easier times. I have been impatient with Your timing and doubted Your purposes. THANKSGIVING: Thank You that every season serves a purpose in Your hands. Thank You for being present in both weeping and laughing, mourning and dancing. I am grateful that no season lasts forever. SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to embrace the season I am in, knowing You are working even in difficulty. Give me patience to wait for seasons to change and wisdom to learn what each season teaches. Help me trust that You are preparing a time to dance even when it is time to weep. PRAYER “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High.” PSALM 92:1 Dear Heavenly Father, I do not just offer praise to You just because You are worthy, but because it is also good for my soul. I am created for praise, carefully woven together to experience harmony with You. When I worship You, I am living out my sole purpose in life. So may every breath within me be praise to You. May every step I take and move I make be for Your namesake. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…

1 Episode 1411 - Jarvis Kingston Jesus wept - John 11:35 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust cause me t 15:01
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 143:8 Jesus wept - John 11:35 DEVOTION Based on John 11:35 The shortest verse in the Bible carries profound weight. Jesus, God and human, stood at His friend's tomb and wept. He knew He would raise Lazarus, yet He still grieved. This shows us that faith and tears can coexist. Sorrow is not a sign of weak faith—even Jesus experienced it. When anxiety comes from loss or grief, remember: your Savior understands. He is not distant or detached from your pain. The One who wept at a graveside weeps with you in your sorrows. You are never alone in your tears. The God who cried understands every drop that falls from your eyes. Your tears are precious to Him. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Jesus, You are the compassionate Savior who enters into our sorrow. You are not a distant deity but Emmanuel—God with us in every tear. CONFESSION: I confess I have sometimes thought I needed to hide my tears from You. I have believed the lie that strong faith means no sorrow. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for showing us that tears are sacred, not shameful. Thank You for weeping with us, for understanding our grief from the inside. I am grateful You are not too holy to hurt with us. SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to bring my tears to You without shame. When anxiety comes from grief or loss, remind me that You understand. Comfort me with the knowledge that You weep with those who weep. Let me find healing in Your compassionate presence. PRAYER “Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.” PSALM 143:8 Dear Lord, I pray for listening ears and an open heart. Every morning when I rise, it is my primary desire to hear Your voice and move in tandem with Your will. I trust You for every step I take, and move with assurance that Your will for my life is far greater than anything I could dream up for myself. I lift my soul to You, and surrender my mind, heart, and actions to Your perfect desires. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY ! 1 Episode 1410 - Jarvis Kingston Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord 15:01
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.” PSALM 23:6 DEVOTION Based on Psalm 23:6 David writes with unshakeable certainty: surely. Not hopefully, not maybe, but surely. God's goodness and love do not just accompany us—they follow us, pursue us, never letting us out of their sight. This means on our worst days, in our deepest valleys, through our greatest fears, goodness and love are still there. They are not fair-weather friends but faithful companions. And the destination? Dwelling with God forever. This eternal perspective transforms present anxieties. Whatever you face today, goodness and love are following close behind, and your future is secure in God's house. You are pursued by grace itself. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are the Good Shepherd whose goodness and love never fail. You pursue us with mercy, following us with faithfulness through every season of life. CONFESSION: I confess I often look back and see only problems, missing the trail of Your goodness. I have doubted Your love when circumstances were difficult. THANKSGIVING: Thank You that Your goodness and love are relentless in their pursuit of me. Thank You for the promise of dwelling with You forever. I am grateful that nothing can separate me from Your pursuing love. SUPPLICATION: Father, open my eyes to see Your goodness and love following me today. When anxiety makes me forget Your faithfulness, remind me of all the ways You have pursued me with mercy. Help me to live with eternal perspective, knowing my future is secure in Your house. PRAYER “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.” PSALM 23:6 Dear Lord, You are my God and I will trust in You. Your faithfulness is a shield around me every day, defending me from all the dangers of this life. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, and anoint my head with oil; Your goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life. I know I can walk through this life free fream fear, because the Maker of Heaven and Earth stands beside me. You hedge me in, protect me, and beckon me to look forward toward Your kingdom. Keep my eyes set on You, Lord, free from anxiety. 1 Episode 1409 - Jarvis Kingston Father, You are the great Provider who sustains all creation From the smallest bird to the vast galaxies Amen 15:01
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Luke 12:24-26 Consider the ravens: They don’t sow or reap; they don’t have a storeroom or a barn; yet God feeds them. Aren’t you worth much more than the birds? Can any of you add a cubit to his height by worrying? If then you’re not able to do even a little thing, why worry about the rest?” LUKE 12:24-26 DEVOTION Based on Luke 12:24-26 Jesus points to creation as our teacher. Ravens do not have retirement plans or storage units, yet they eat daily. If God faithfully provides for birds, how much more will He care for you, made in His image, loved beyond measure? Worry cannot add a moment to our lives; it only steals from the moments we have. This passage invites us to recalibrate our perspective, to see ourselves as God sees us: precious, valued, worth caring for. Your Father knows what you need. The birds teach us about trust—they work and seek food but do not anxiously hoard. They live in daily dependence on their Creator. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Father, You are the great Provider who sustains all creation. From the smallest bird to the vast galaxies, nothing escapes Your care. Your love encompasses all You have made. CONFESSION: I confess I often live as if everything depends on me. I worry as if You have forgotten me, as if I am worth less than the birds You faithfully feed. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for valuing me more than I value myself. Thank You for Your faithful provision throughout my life. I am grateful that my worth to You is not based on my productivity or success. SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to truly believe in my value to You. When worry tempts me to doubt Your care, remind me of the birds. Teach me to rest in Your provision instead of striving in anxiety. Help me trust that the God who feeds ravens will surely care for me. PRAYER “Consider the ravens: They don’t sow or reap; they don’t have a storeroom or a barn; yet God feeds them. Aren’t you worth much more than the birds? Can any of you add a cubit to his height by worrying? If then you’re not able to do even a little thing, why worry about the rest?” LUKE 12:24-26 Dear Heavenly Father, You are the Creator of all things. Your magnificence is beyond our comprehension, and yet You still love us with an unwavering, perfect love. We delight in knowing that nothing can ever separate us from Your loving embrace. We thank You for the gifts You have given us: food to nourish us, shelter to protect us, and joy that warms our hearts. You have given us the sun to bring life-giving light, and the stars to fill our minds with wonder. Help us not to worry about earthly treasures, but rather give thanks for all the blessing You have bestowed upon us. Give us faith that You will provide for us, no matter what the circumstances may be. We praise You forever and ever. 1 Episode 1408 - Jarvis Kingston So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. 15:01
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Matthew 6:34 So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own Matthew 6:34 DEVOTION Based on Matthew 6:34 Jesus speaks with practical wisdom about our tendency to borrow tomorrow's troubles today. He does not minimize our challenges but redirects our focus. Each day brings its own concerns—why double our burden by adding future worries? This teaching invites us to practice presence, to trust God with what we cannot yet see or control. Tomorrow's grace will come tomorrow. Today's grace is sufficient for today. When we live in this moment, trusting God for the next, we find our anxiety loses its power. Focus on today's blessings, today's provision, today's opportunities to trust. The present moment is where God meets us. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Jesus, You are the Lord of time itself. Past, present, and future are in Your hands. You are already in my tomorrow, preparing the way with Your grace. CONFESSION: I confess I often waste today's energy worrying about tomorrow's problems. I have missed present blessings while fearing future troubles that may never come. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for daily bread—not weekly or monthly, but daily. Thank You for grace that matches each day's needs perfectly. I am grateful that You are already in my tomorrow. SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to live in today. When my mind races ahead to tomorrow's concerns, bring me back to this moment. Teach me to trust You with the future while being faithful in the present. Give me grace to handle today and faith to leave tomorrow in Your capable hands. PRAYER “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” MATTHEW 6:34 Dear Father, You are the Creator of all and You know everything. Today, we come humbly asking for Your help in seeking peace and strength to be content with our lives. Grant us the ability to take a step back from faithfully trusting in what tomorrow may bring, so that we may remain focused on the day at hand. Help us to live each moment in such a way that will bring glory and honor to You. 1 Episode 1407 - Jarvis Kingston Heaviness in the heart of man makes it stoop but a good word makes it glad PROVERBS 12:25 WNBA All Star Game 15:01
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 12:25 Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.” PROVERBS 12:25 DEVOTION Based on Proverbs 12:25 This proverb acknowledges a profound truth: anxiety is heavy. It presses down on our hearts like a physical weight, affecting our whole being. But notice the simple antidote that God provides—a kind word. Our Father often delivers His comfort through the voices of others. A timely encouragement, a gentle reminder of truth, a word of hope can lift the burden anxiety places on our hearts. This verse reminds us we are both receivers and givers of such words. Today, whose heart might you lighten with kindness? Are you open to receiving the kind words God sends your way through others? Sometimes the smallest gesture carries the most incredible power. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are the God who speaks life into being. Your words created the universe and Your words sustain our souls. You know the power of words to heal and restore. CONFESSION: I confess I have sometimes added to others' burdens with careless words. I have also rejected kind words meant to encourage me, choosing to remain in my anxiety. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the people You have sent to speak kindness into my life. Thank You for Your Word that lifts my heart when anxiety weighs it down. I am grateful for the healing power of encouragement. SUPPLICATION: Father, make me sensitive to those whose hearts are heavy with anxiety. Give me kind words to share that bring Your light into their darkness. Help me receive encouragement with humility and grace. Use my words to be medicine for anxious hearts. PRAYER “Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.” PROVERBS 12:25 Dear Lord, At times, the heaviness of life and the burdens of the world seem too heavy to bear. I trudge along, desperate for encouragement to keep going. Thank You that an endless supply of love and affirmation is found in Your word. Thank You for making me glad when my heart is troubled. I pray You would continue to uplift me when I am weak, and teach me how to do the same for others. 1 Episode 1406 - Jarvis Kingston In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul. -Psalms 94:19 Coldplay Damian Lillard 15:01
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 94:19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul. -Psalms 94:19 DEVOTION Based on Psalm 94:19 The psalmist speaks from experience, not theoretical knowledge but lived reality. In the midst of overwhelming thoughts that multiply like shadows in the night, God’s comfort breaks through like dawn. This is not about positive thinking or denial; this is about divine intervention in our mental struggles. God’s consolation does more than calm us; it brings joy. It transforms our inner landscape from chaos to peace, from despair to hope. His comfort addresses not just the symptoms but reaches the depths of our anxious hearts. When your thoughts spiral, remember: God’s comfort is greater than your anxiety. He meets us in the tangle with joy. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: God, You are the great Comforter, the One who speaks peace into chaos. Your consolation reaches deeper than any anxiety can penetrate. CONFESSION: I admit that I often let anxious thoughts dominate my mind before turning to You. I have sought comfort in lesser things that cannot truly console. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for understanding the battles within my mind. Thank You for comfort that brings not just relief but genuine joy. I am grateful that Your consolation is always available, always sufficient. SUPPLICATION: Lord, when anxiety multiplies within me, remind me of Your nearness. Help me to pause and receive Your comfort before my thoughts spiral. Fill my mind with Your truth and my heart with Your joy. Teach me to run to You first, not last. PRAYER “When I am filled with cares, Your comfort brings me joy.” PSALM 94:19 Dear God, We are reminded every day that when anxieties multiply within us, Your comforts bring us joy. We pray that You would comfort us in our times of distress and worry. Help us to trust in Your sovereignty and goodness, even when we cannot see the way ahead. May the knowledge of Your love and care for us bring peace to our hearts, and may we find joy in Your presence. 1 Episode 1405 - Jarvis Kingston but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God Amen 15:01
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” PHILIPPIANS 4:6 DEVOTION Based on Philippians 4:6 This verse is more than just advice; it’s an invitation to transform worry into worship. When anxiety rises like a tide threatening to overwhelm us, God offers an alternative: prayer infused with gratitude. Notice how Thanksgiving is integral to this approach. It’s not about denying our concerns but rather bringing them to the One who holds all things. Every anxious thought can become a conversation with God. He doesn’t promise to remove every difficulty, but He does promise His presence in the midst of them. Today, consider what worries you can transform into prayers. The practice of prayer with thanksgiving rewires our anxious hearts, turning fear into faith and worry into worship. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are sovereign over every circumstance. You hear every prayer and hold every concern in Your mighty hands. Nothing is too great for Your power or too small for Your attention. CONFESSION: I confess I often carry burdens You never asked me to bear alone. I've let anxiety steal my peace instead of bringing my concerns to You. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the privilege of prayer, for always being available to hear my heart. Thank You that I don't have to face anything alone, that Your peace guards my heart and mind. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me remember to pray before I panic. Teach me to bring every concern to You with thanksgiving. Replace my anxiety with Your perfect peace. Show me how to trust You with the things I cannot control. PRAYER “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” PHILIPPIANS 4:6 Dear God, As we come before You today, and we confess that at times we allow worry and fear to consume us, and we ask for Your forgiveness and grace. Help us to trust in Your love and goodness, knowing that You will provide for all our needs according to your riches in Christ Jesus. May we turn to You in prayer and supplication, giving thanks for all that You have done and all that you will do in our lives. 1 Episode 1404 - Jarvis Kingston Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” 1 PETER 5:7 Jennifer Love Hewitt LeBron Trade SZA MLB 15:01
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” 1 PETER 5:7 DEVOTION Based on 1 Peter 5 God doesn’t just tolerate our worries—He invites them. 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us that we don’t have to carry the weight of anxiety and burdens alone. To “cast” is to release fully, to throw off what we were never meant to bear. Often, we hold onto stress, thinking we must handle everything ourselves. But Scripture calls us to let it go and place it in God’s hands. Why? Because He cares for us—personally, tenderly, consistently. His care isn’t distant or conditional; it’s constant and intimate. Whatever weighs on your heart today, hand it over to the One who loves you and holds all things together. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are the God who sees me, hears me, and carries my burdens. I praise You for Your loving care and constant presence. CONFESSION: I often hold onto my worries instead of trusting You fully. I let anxiety steal my peace rather than casting my cares on You. THANKSGIVING: Thank you for your endless patience with me. Thank you for caring about even the small details of my life and always being ready to lift what weighs me down. SUPPLICATION: Father, teach me to release my worries into Your hands. Help me not to pick them back up after I’ve laid them down in prayer. Let your peace guard my heart and mind. Show me daily how to walk lightly, not burdened, trusting that You are already working things out for my good and Your glory. PRAYER “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” 1 PETER 5:7 Dear Lord, You are trustworthy, caring, and compassionate. You have broken down any wall that separated me from You. I know I can trust You with my burdens. I can trust You to take my anxiety, fear, and doubt and replace them with peace. Today, I place my burdens at the feet of the cross and declare victory over all that would seek to pull me away from You. 1 Episode 1403 - Jarvis Kingston Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends JOHN 15:13 MLB All Star WNBA 15:01
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. JOHN 15:13 DEVOTION Based on John 15 Jesus redefines love, not as mere words or emotion, but as sacrifice. In John 15:13, He reveals the highest expression of love: giving one’s life for another. This points not only to His coming sacrifice on the cross, but also to how we’re called to love others—selflessly, courageously, and without reservation. Love isn’t always easy or convenient. It costs time, pride, comfort, and sometimes more. But when we choose to love like Jesus, we reflect His heart to the world. Whether through forgiveness, service, or simply showing up in someone’s pain, this is what true friendship and Christlike love look like. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Jesus, You are love in its purest form—laying down Your life for us so we could live. Your sacrifice is unmatched, and Your love is everlasting. CONFESSION: I often settle for shallow love—loving when it’s easy, withholding when it’s not. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for loving me with a love that goes beyond words. Thank You for laying down Your life so I could be forgiven, free, and whole. Thank You for placing people in my life who’ve shown me selfless love in big and small ways. SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to love like You. Make me willing to sacrifice my comfort, pride, or time for the sake of others. Teach me to be the kind of friend who stays, serves, and lays down my life daily in love. Let my actions speak louder than my words and point others back to You. PRAYER “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” JOHN 15:13 Dear Heavenly Father, We come to You today with humble hearts and a desire to seek Your will. We ask that You grant us the grace of selflessness so we may emulate the kind of friendship depicted on the cross. Help us to learn what it means to truly put the needs of others above our own, for Your glory. Let us not be afraid of sacrifice or discomfort as we seek to serve You and those around us. May we follow in the footsteps of Jesus, who gave up His life so that we may have eternal life with You. Fill us with humility as we strive to obey Your commands and put aside our own desires. Enable us to lay down our lives for those around us, showing the same kind of love that Jesus showed on the cross. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 John 17:9 & 11 THE HIGH PRIESTLY PRAYER 1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: 2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. 3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. 4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. 5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. 6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. 7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. 8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. 9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. 10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. 11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. 13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. 20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. 24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. 26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. DEVOTION Based on John 17 In His final hours, Jesus prayed not just for His disciples, but for unity and protection for all believers. He entrusted us into the Father’s care and desired that we be united like the Trinity. This prayer reveals Jesus’ deep love and commitment to our spiritual well-being. He intercedes even now. Division and fear may surround us, but we are kept by the name of the Holy Father—secure, loved, and called to unity. When we love one another, we fulfill Christ’s prayer. Unity is not sameness, but Spirit-led harmony that testifies to God’s presence among us. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Jesus, You are our eternal Intercessor. You prayed for us, and You still stand in the gap today. CONFESSION: I confess I’ve let pride or offense create distance in relationships where You call for unity. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for praying for me, for protecting me through the Father’s name. Thank You for loving enough to cover me in prayer before the cross. SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to walk in unity with others in the Body of Christ. Make me quick to forgive, eager to reconcile, and committed to peace. Let my relationships reflect Your love and draw others to Your truth. Keep me in Your name, just as You prayed, and help me live out that calling with humility and grace. PRAYER “I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.” JOHN 17:9 & 11 Dear Lord Jesus, You are a God of unity. While the rest of the world reels in division, we pray earnestly that You would unite Your church under Your name. Please help us to put aside pettiness and arguments and instead focus on the things we agree on. May we experience the same unity You experienced with the Father – always submitting and honoring each other. In Your name, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…

1 Episode 1401 - Jarvis Kingston Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful Proverbs 27:6 Wimbledon Finals 15:01
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 27:6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. PROVERBS 27:6 DEVOTION Based on Proverbs 27 True friendship isn’t just kindness—it’s truth in love. A faithful friend won’t flatter you into complacency but will speak what’s needed, even when it hurts. These “wounds” are not to injure, but to refine. Honest correction, given in love, protects us from paths that could lead to harm. It’s far better to be challenged by someone who loves you than praised by someone who doesn’t. God places trustworthy people in our lives to sharpen us. When someone speaks truth with love, listen. And be the kind of friend who speaks truth with grace. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are truth and love, perfectly balanced. You correct and guide in righteousness. CONFESSION: I sometimes resist correction and value comfort over growth. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for friends who have loved me enough to speak the truth. Thank You for refining me through honest conversations that shaped my walk with You. SUPPLICATION: God, help me accept truth with humility and offer it gracefully. Let me be courageous in love and discerning in speech. Build in me relationships rooted in reality and kindness. Let all correction be seasoned with compassion, and may my heart remain teachable before You and others. PRAYER “Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.” PROVERBS 27:6 Dear Lord, We thank You for the gift of friendship. We are grateful that in all our relationships we can come to You for guidance. We ask that You help us to be humble and open to the advice of our friends who love us enough to rebuke us when needed. Help us, Dear Lord, to be wise in the advice we listen to and accept it. We pray that You keep us from giving in to flattery from those with hidden motives and ill-intent. Let us not be naive but rather remember Your words of wisdom. 1 Episode 1400 - Jarvis Kingston God, You are near to the brokenhearted. You sit with us in silence and sorrow. Help us In Jesus’ name, Amen ! 15:01
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Job 2:13 “So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.” JOB 2:13 DEVOTION Based on Job 2 Sometimes the deepest comfort we can offer isn’t found in words, but in presence. Job’s friends sat silently with him for seven days, acknowledging his suffering simply by being there. This verse reminds us of the sacred ministry of presence. When someone is hurting, it’s not our explanations that help most—it’s our compassion, stillness, and willingness to share the space of sorrow. God is present in silence, too. When you don’t know what to say, show up anyway. Your quiet presence may be the loudest expression of love and support someone receives. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: God, You are near to the brokenhearted. You sit with us in silence and sorrow. CONFESSION: I’ve rushed to speak when others simply needed me to listen or be present. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for being a God who never leaves us alone in our pain. Thank You for sending people to walk with me in difficult seasons, even when no words were spoken. SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to be present in others' grief. Teach me to be still, to listen, and to carry pain without trying to fix it. Let me reflect Your comfort in quiet companionship. May I not fear silence but recognize it as holy when filled with love. PRAYER “So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.” JOB 2:13 Dear Lord, We know that sorrow is inevitable in this life. Trials come and tragedy strikes, leaving us at a loss for words. It’s times like these when friendship is crucial. We pray that You would empower us to be tender-hearted to our friends who face tragedy. Give us wisdom to know when to speak, when to be silent, and when to reach out. Help us to be selfless during those times, and not look to please ourselves with vein advice and ill-timed platitudes. We want to be near as You are near, comforting as You are comforting, and wise as You are wise. Guide us in all these things. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Luke 5:19 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus. LUKE 5:19 DEVOTION Based on Luke 5 This scene shows radical friendship and unshakable faith. The paralyzed man couldn’t get to Jesus on his own, but his friends were relentless. They tore through a roof to place him before the Healer. That kind of determination and love moved Jesus deeply. It’s a picture of intercession—lifting others when they can’t move forward independently. We’re called to carry one another in faith, prayer, and action. Sometimes, your faith will be what brings someone else to a breakthrough. Be the kind of friend who lifts, persists, and believes in others, especially when they can’t do it alone. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Jesus, You honor bold faith and the compassion that brings others to You. CONFESSION: I haven’t always gone the extra mile to help others encounter You. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the people who have carried me in prayer and stood by me when I felt weak. Thank You for showing us what true love in action looks like. SUPPLICATION: Lord, give me eyes to see who needs to be carried closer to You. Make me a faithful friend and intercessor. Let my faith not only impact my life but lift others, too. May my actions reflect the love that makes a way where there seems to be none. PRAYER And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus. LUKE 5:19 Dear Lord, You went to great lengths to free me from sin and shame. You exemplified what it means to be a true friend by laying down Your convenience for the sake of my comfort. I pray that I would do the same. Every day, I know there are opportunities to show Your love and sacrifice. Give me vision and clarity to see those opportunities. Give me the conviction to act. I want to be a good friend who stops at nothing to bring my friends to You. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 17:17 A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.” PROVERBS 17:17 DEVOTION Based on Proverbs 17 This verse highlights the constancy of real love. A true friend isn’t just present when life is easy—they remain when things get hard. Adversity often reveals the depth of relationships. God created us to be relational beings, and in hardship, He often ministers to us through others. A brother or sister in faith stands firm in times of trial, bearing burdens, offering encouragement, and sharing tears. Don’t underestimate the power of showing up for someone. And when you’re struggling, let others in. God’s love flows through friendship, and He often sends His comfort through the people around us. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are faithful in every season, loving me constantly and surrounding me with care. CONFESSION: I’ve taken some relationships for granted or withdrawn when things got difficult. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for friends and family who have stood by me during hard times. Thank You for using them as vessels of Your compassion and strength. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to love others the way You love me—steadfastly, patiently, and unconditionally. Please give me the courage to support those in adversity, even when it’s inconvenient. Build in me the kind of love that endures and lifts others toward hope. PRAYER “A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.” PROVERBS 17:17 Dear Lord, You have put us on this earth to love and help one other. We are all part of Your family and we must look out for each other in times of need. Grant us the strength that we may be a community and support each other through thick and thin. Help us to understand the value of friendship, that we may be there for someone when they are struggling. For it is in the tough moments where real connection and growth can take place. 1 Episode 1397 - Jarvis Kingston Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings ! 15:01
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.” MALACHI 3:8 DEVOTION Based on Malachi 3 This verse offers a sobering reminder: giving is not just generosity—it’s obedience. God considers tithes and offerings part of our covenant relationship with Him. When we withhold them, we rob God and ourselves, missing the blessings and provision He longs to pour out. Tithing isn’t about money; it’s about trust. Do we believe that God is our actual Provider? Our giving declares that He reigns over our finances, hearts, and priorities. When we give faithfully, we step into a rhythm of grace and provision. God isn’t after our money—He’s after our trust and worship. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are the generous King who gives freely and sustains everything. You never run out, and You always provide in love. CONFESSION: I’ve been hesitant to give at times, worried about what I’ll lose instead of trusting what You promise to provide. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. Thank You for every resource, opportunity, and provision You’ve entrusted to me. Even in lack, You’ve never left me without care. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me be faithful to what You’ve given. Teach me to tithe with joy, not out of duty but devotion. Free me from the fear of lack and increase my faith in Your abundance. Let my giving reflect a heart that honors You and trusts wholly in Your care. PRAYER “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.” MALACHI 3:8 Dear Lord, Nothing we have is our own. You are the giver of all things. When we refuse to be generous, it shows we have not fully processed Your abundant blessing and generosity. We pray that You would continually remind us that You alone are the source of our income, property, and resources. Help us to realize that anything given onto You is a good investment, and teach us to be generous when we would rather be greedy. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Deuteronomy 8:17-18 “And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth. But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” DEUTERONOMY 8:17-18 DEVOTION Based on Deuteronomy 8 It’s tempting to believe our success solely results from our hard work and talent. But God’s Word reminds us that every ability, opportunity, and result is ultimately from Him. We are not self-made—we are God-enabled. He gives us the power to earn, grow, and steward resources for His purposes. When we forget Him, pride creeps in. But when we remember Him, we walk in thankfulness and alignment with His will. God is the Source. Acknowledge Him in your success and honor Him with all you have. He blesses not for pride but for purpose. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are the Provider of all things. You are the One who gives strength, creativity, and the ability to prosper. Without You, I have nothing; with You, I lack nothing. CONFESSION: I’ve taken credit for what You have done through me. I’ve forgotten that every gain is Your grace at work. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the countless ways You’ve equipped me to work, earn, and make an impact. Thank You for the doors You’ve opened and the skills You’ve developed in me. Your generosity and wisdom guide every step I take. SUPPLICATION: Father, keep me humble and aware that You are my Source. Help me to use what I’ve been given, not for personal glory but for Your kingdom. Teach me to trust in Your provision and to honor You with my finances, time, and energy. Let all I achieve reflect Your goodness. PRAYER “And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth. But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” DEUTERONOMY 8:17-18 Dear Lord, Help us to remember that all the good things we enjoy come from Your gracious hand. Let us not forget that You have provided for our every need and made it possible for us to thrive in this life as Your children. Forgive us when we succumb to prideful thinking; remind us that without You, nothing is possible. Grant us the courage to remain humble and mindful of our dependence on You for every blessing. 1 Episode 1395 - Jarvis Kingston O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. PSALM 95:1 Amen ! 15:01
Your Daily Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 95:1 Worship louder in the silence the louder we lift God’s name the clearer His victory becomes. FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT ACTION: GENTLENESS Help someone in a small but meaningful way, like holding a door or carrying groceries. Today’s story is about King Jehoshaphat and how worship led his people to victory. Instead of fighting with weapons, they praised God, and God fought for them. This reminds us that worship is our most vigorous defense even when life is chaotic. Scripture And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever. 2 Chronicles 20:21 Have you ever wondered why worship is so powerful in the middle of a battle? In 2 Chronicles 20, King Jehoshaphat faced a terrifying situation—multiple armies were marching against Judah. Instead of reacting with fear or human strategy, he led the people into fasting, prayer, and worship. What’s unexpected is that God told them they wouldn’t need to fight. He simply asked them to take their positions and trust Him. So, Jehoshaphat placed worshippers at the front of the army. They sang praises, and God set ambushes against their enemies as they worshipped. What would it look like to put worship at the front of your battles instead of worry? This story reminds us that worship isn’t just a musical moment—it’s an act of war in the spiritual realm. When we praise God in the middle of pain, confusion, or fear, we’re declaring, “God is greater than this situation.” We aren’t denying the presence of trouble—we declare the authority of the One who can overcome it. Worship shifts our eyes from the problem to the solution, from anxiety to assurance. Are there battles in your life where God asks you to worship instead of strive? This also invites us to check the posture of our hearts. Sometimes things will go wrong—the microphone might cut out, or life might throw us a curveball. But praise doesn’t depend on perfection. It depends on presence. Heaven starts moving on our behalf when we choose to honor God despite what we feel. REFLECTION Think about the battles you are currently facing. Are you trying to control everything or making space for worship and trust? Today, choose to place praise before panic. Create moments in your day to lift your voice, speak God’s truth about your situation, and remind your soul of who is really in charge. Your worship song becomes your greatest strength when life feels like a battlefield. PRAYER O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. PSALM 95:1 Glorious Lord, I lift my voice to worship your Holy name. You are the rock of my salvation and my strong refuge. When I think of all you have done for me my heart is filled with Joy and I can’t help but sing your praises. When I start to praise you, I feel your presence descend and ignite my Spirit. You inhabit the praises of your people and respond to my praises. When I don’t feel close to you all I have to do is start to praise you and your presence draws near. The more I praise you the more joy floods my spirit and chases any fear or oppression away. Praise is my breakthrough weapon. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” MATTHEW 6:24 DEVOTION Based on Matthew 6 Jesus speaks directly to the tension between serving God and serving worldly gain. We can’t fully give ourselves to both. Mammon represents wealth, security, and self-driven success apart from God. When we try to serve both, our hearts become divided. But a surrendered heart can’t have dual loyalties. God desires our full devotion, not leftovers. When He is first, everything else finds its proper place. The choice isn’t just between good and bad—it’s between what’s eternal and temporary. Who you serve shapes who you become. Choose God, and your heart, mind, and future will be aligned with peace and purpose. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are worthy of my complete devotion. There is no one like You—faithful, loving, and true. CONFESSION: I’ve tried to serve You while clinging to my comforts and desires. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for patiently drawing me back when I wander and for reminding me that freedom is found in wholehearted devotion. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me release my grip on anything that rivals You in my heart. Teach me to trust You as my source and not to chase what fades. Give me clarity when choices blur and courage when sacrifices are hard. Align my heart with Yours so that every decision I make brings You glory. PRAYER “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” MATTHEW 6:24 Dear Lord, I know that every day there is a choice. Who will I serve? Will I serve mammon - the culture of the age that tells me I need to buy more to be more? Or do I serve Your kingdom – the culture of heaven that tells me I am valuable as I am because of Your love for me? The choice, in theory, seems simple. Yet my heart tends to stray toward mammon. Keep me close to You, Lord. Remind me every day that You are a far greater master, and worth serving with my entire heart! Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Ecclesiastes 3:13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.” ECCLESIASTES 3:13 DEVOTION Based on Ecclesiastes 3 God not only gives us work to do—He also invites us to enjoy the fruit of that labor. Ecclesiastes 3:13 reminds us that satisfaction and enjoyment are not selfish indulgences but gifts from God. The ability to find joy in your daily life, to pause and appreciate good food, meaningful work, and moments of rest, is part of God’s design. It’s easy to rush from one task to the next, but God calls us to receive His blessings with gratitude and presence. Enjoyment isn’t the goal of life, but it’s a grace along the way. Celebrate the little things today—they are reminders of God’s kindness. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: God, You are the giver of joy. You fill life with meaning and moments of goodness. CONFESSION: I often overlook the blessings You’ve placed before me. I chase the next goal without appreciating the now. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for allowing me to enjoy life’s simple gifts—meals, rest, relationships, and the work of my hands. SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to live with greater awareness of Your daily blessings. Teach me to pause and give thanks. Let my heart not be consumed with striving, but filled with contentment. May I see enjoyment not as a distraction but as worship—delighting in what You’ve provided. Remind me today that joy is holy when it flows from You. PRAYER “And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.” ECCLESIASTES 3:13 Dear Lord, You have created us to work, be creative, and build cultures that honor You. Yet, we are not meant to only work. We are meant to enjoy the fruit of our labor as well. We are designed to enjoy the good gifts that come from hard work. Lord, we thank You for the fruit of our labor. We ask that everything would be enjoyed for Your glory and Your glory alone. Joshua 1:8 reminds us that success flows from meditation and obedience to Scripture. Not occasional reading, but daily reflection, internalization, and application. When we fill our minds and hearts with God’s truth, it changes how we live. His Word trains us in wisdom, aligns our choices with His will, and directs our steps toward blessing. If you’re seeking clarity, peace, or a breakthrough, start with Scripture. Meditate on it. Speak it. Live it. God promises that the one who treasures His Word will walk a path marked by His presence, purpose, and prosperity. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, Your Word is life and light. It reveals Your heart and leads me in truth. CONFESSION: I confess that I’ve treated Your Word casually. I’ve neglected the discipline of meditation and obedience. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for giving me a clear path to walk in—a way to know You and live purposefully through Scripture. SUPPLICATION: God, help me to hunger for Your Word. Give me discipline to meditate day and night, not just for knowledge but for transformation. Let Your truth shape my thoughts, words, and choices. When I’m distracted, draw me back. Make my way prosperous—not just in the world’s eyes—but in the fullness of Your will. PRAYER “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” JOSHUA 1:8 Dear Heavenly Father, The riches of heaven are safely tucked within Your word. It is a joy that we get access to it every day. The wealth of Your holy wisdom is available to us! May we take full advantage of it, never ceasing to search for its value. Elisha freed a widow, purified a stew, fed 100 men with 20 loaves, and recovered a sunken axe head, showing God's care and provision in our daily lives. STORY Bible in a Year: Everyday Miracles Scripture Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. – 2 Kings 4:3-4 Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the daily challenges of life? Elisha’s story reminds us that God is deeply invested in our everyday moments. In 2 Kings 4, we see a widow in desperate need, about to lose her sons to slavery. Elisha instructs her to gather empty jars and pour out the little oil she has, which miraculously fills all the jars, providing for her family and saving her sons. This miracle is a powerful reminder that God sees our needs and provides in ways that exceed our expectations. How often do we overlook the small miracles in our lives? The healing of the poisoned stew in 2 Kings 4:38-41 shows that even in seemingly minor crises, God intervenes. Elisha, by adding flour to the pot, turns what could have been a disaster into a moment of divine provision. What situations in your life need God’s healing touch? Another significant miracle is the feeding of 100 men with just 20 loaves of bread. This act of provision foreshadows Jesus’ feeding of the 5,000, emphasizing that God is a provider who multiplies our resources when we place them in His hands. Do you trust God with your limited resources, believing He can multiply them to meet your needs and those of others? Lastly, the recovery of the sunken axe head in 2 Kings 6:1-7 may seem trivial, yet it underscores that no concern is too small for God. By causing the axe head to float, God showed His power over the natural world and His care for the mundane aspects of life. What "sunk" areas in your life do you need to bring to God, trusting He can lift them up? REFLECTION Reflect on the areas of your life where you need a miracle. Are there situations that seem hopeless or resources that seem insufficient? Take a moment to recognize that God is present in your everyday life, ready to provide and guide you. Begin to look for small miracles, signs of God’s intervention, and care in your daily routine. Pray for eyes to see these miracles and for the faith to trust in God’s provision. PRAYER And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim. 2 KINGS 6:6 Lord I thank You for Your continued faithfulness and favor as I listen to the reading in 2 Kings. I stand in awe and adoration as I begin to realize that through the story of the widow in debt, You continually pour out the oil of anointing as long as there is an empty vessel ready to receive what You’re pouring out. With this truth I declare that my life will serve as an empty vessel so that You can continually pour out Your goodness and anointing over me and my circumstances. Like Elisha, I declare that Your miracles of turning bad situations to good will follow me. I declare that when my dreams seem to sink, like the ax head, that in Your goodness You will allow it to rise to the top to be used for purpose and for building something that brings You honor. I prophesy over my life right now that miracles will be the norm in my life and not the exception. I know You are Good and Your Name is all I need to achieve greatness! 1 Episode 1390 - Jarvis Kingston By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honor, and life PROVERBS 22:4 NBA Free Agency NFL Prayer 15:00
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 22:4 By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life. PROVERBS 22:4 DEVOTION Based on Proverbs 22 This verse flips worldly wisdom upside down. True abundance doesn’t come from pride or power but from humility and reverence for God. Humility opens our hearts to wisdom, and fearing the Lord aligns our priorities. Riches, honor, and life may look different than the world defines, but God’s blessings are far more lasting. When we choose to walk humbly before God, we position ourselves for spiritual wealth that can’t be stolen. Seek humility today—not as weakness, but as strength anchored in God. Fear Him rightly, and trust that He rewards those who revere Him. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are worthy of all reverence and respect. Your greatness and holiness inspire awe in our hearts. You honor those who walk humbly with You, guiding them through each step of their journey. CONFESSION: Forgive me for the times I have pursued recognition or wealth over righteousness. I acknowledge moments when I let pride and the desire for earthly success cloud my judgment. Help me to realign my heart with Your will. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for redefining success and showing that actual achievement lies in faith and integrity. You generously offer eternal rewards to those who honor and fear You, providing hope that transcends worldly measures. SUPPLICATION: God, teach me the beauty of humility. Help me seek You above all else, resisting the pull of the world's values. Let me live with profound awe and dependence on You, trusting that true life and fulfillment come from knowing and honoring You daily. PRAYER “By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life.” PROVERBS 22:4 Dear Lord, As I pause to pray to You today, I am reminded that connection with You is the most valuable thing of all. My connection with You and access to Your presence was expensive, bought by the blood of Jesus. Help me to never forget that. I want to live in awe, fear, and reverence of Your greatness every day of my life. Humble me, Lord, so I may live an abundant life. 1 Episode 1389 - Jarvis Kingston Embrace the changes with faith, trusting that God’s Spirit will empower and equip you for the journey ahead. 15:01
Your Daily Prayer 🙏🏾 2 Kings 2:11 Every ending brings the promise of a new beginning. Today’s daily devotional is based on the story of Elijah’s departure. As Elijah was taken up into the heavens by chariots of fire, his faithful servant Elisha received a double portion of his spirit and stepped into his role as prophet over Israel. STORY Bible in a Year: Chariots of Fire Scripture "And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven." — 2 Kings 2:11 Have you ever experienced a significant change or transition in your life? Elijah’s departure and Elisha’s rise to leadership remind us that with every ending comes a new beginning. Elijah, one of Israel’s greatest prophets, had faithfully served God and His people. As his time on earth drew to a close, he journeyed with his servant Elisha, crossing the Jordan River and reflecting on God’s faithfulness. Elisha, recognizing the magnitude of the moment, asked Elijah for a double portion of his spirit. This request was a bold expression of his desire to continue Elijah’s work with even greater anointing. Elijah, acknowledging that this blessing was beyond his power to grant, assured Elisha that if he witnessed Elijah’s departure, his request would be fulfilled. As they walked, the heavens opened, and chariots of fire descended, taking Elijah up in a whirlwind. Elisha, seeing this, received the promised blessing. Elisha’s journey mirrors our own experiences of transition. Whether we are stepping into new roles, facing challenges, or seeking to grow in our faith, God’s Spirit is with us, empowering us for the tasks ahead. Just as Elisha took up Elijah’s mantle, we too are called to embrace the opportunities and responsibilities God places before us, trusting in His provision and guidance. REFLECTION Reflect on the transitions and new beginnings in your life. Are there areas where you need to seek God’s guidance and strength? Embrace the changes with faith, trusting that God’s Spirit will empower and equip you for the journey ahead. Consider the mentors and leaders who have impacted your life and how you can continue their legacy of faith and service. YOU WERE CHOSEN—RIGHT ON TIME FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT ACTION: GOODNESS Reflect on this month and write down one way you’ve seen goodness grow in your life. PRAYER And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 2 KINGS 2:11 Lord as You place powerful men and women in my life as mentors, I have made the decision that I will not stop pursuing them even when it's convenient to leave and be on my own. I declare that I will not leave or part ways until You tell me to do so God. When other people in my field try to discourage me and dissuade me from holding fast to my process I will ignore them because I am not moved by external voices but by internal convictions. Because proximity determines my ability I will stay close until i receive a double portion of the wisdom and knowledge they possess. I praise You Lord because in Your goodness You also give me the opportunity to go above and beyond those who guide me so that I can be blessed to be a blessing to those coming after me! 1 Episode 1388 - Jarvis Kingston Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and Holy Spirit 15:01
Your Daily Prayer 🙏🏾 Matthew 28:19 Saying yes to God is never wasted even when it hurts. Today’s story is about Mary and Joseph being chosen to raise Jesus. Though ordinary in the eyes of the world, their faithful response shows us that God chooses those with willing hearts, not perfect résumés. Their obedience calls us to trust God even when His plans cost us comfort. STORY Heroes in the Bible: He is Coming Scripture And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. Luke 1:30 What if being chosen by God meant more responsibility, not less comfort? When Gabriel appears to Mary in Luke 1, it isn’t a moment of glamour—it’s a disruption of her entire future. She’s engaged, living a quiet life, and suddenly told she’ll bear the Son of God. Imagine the questions, the fears, the weight of it all. Yet, Mary responds not with panic, but with surrender: “Be it unto me according to thy word.” Her story reminds us that being chosen by God rarely aligns with human expectations. Where in your life has God’s plan interrupted your comfort? Joseph, too, had a choice. Learning of Mary’s pregnancy, he planned to quietly release her—but after a dream from God, he chose obedience over pride. That quiet faithfulness gave Jesus the protection and home He needed. Joseph’s character reflects the kind of faith that isn’t loud but deeply rooted in trust. Are there places in your life where God is asking you to trust beyond what you understand? Mary and Joseph remind us that being chosen often comes with a cost. But it’s in the cost that the beauty of God’s plan unfolds. They hosted the Savior of the world not because they were perfect, but because they were willing. How is God asking you to respond with faith, even when the outcome isn’t clear? REFLECTION This week, reflect on areas where you may be hesitating to obey God’s call. Is it fear, reputation, or uncertainty holding you back? Surrender your questions to God in prayer. Trust that if He has chosen you, He will also equip you for the journey ahead. Let your “yes” make room for the miraculous. FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT ACTION: GOODNESS Donate supplies or money to a cause that helps people in need. PRAYER Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, MATTHEW 28:19 Thank You, Jesus, for giving me the power to be Your witness, the power to influence others for Your sake. I realize that in every room I step into, I am an ambassador for You. With every word I speak, I have the opportunity to speak for You. I commit to representing You today, and I receive the power You give me to be a mouthpiece for You. I declare that I will be bold today. I will be confident today. I will make an impact today. I will rise up and be the leader that You created me to be. Lord, I will not be lead by the crowd; I will lead the crowd to You. You have called me to stand out. You have called me to be different, to be unique. You have put me on this earth right here and right now “for such a time as this.” You have a plan and a purpose for me. You want me to bring others into Your Kingdom, teaching them to believe in You and obey Your Word. Show me how to do this effectively. Give me the right words to say and give me sensitivity, wisdom, and good timing. Bless my efforts for Your sake and in Your name. Amen. 🙏🏾 Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…
