Some don’t understand how we can refer to the day they crucified Jesus as “Good Friday.” First and foremost, it is evidence of God’s words, which tells us that all things work together for the God of them who love the Lord.
This morning, I want to expound on the good associated with Jesus's sacrifice on the cross. We have heard the story; we know how they ridiculed, beat, and even spat on Jesus. And We know the torture they put his physical body through.
But because of the majesty of Jesus’ divine power, three things happened that should be exalted and discussed more than usual. Today, I am going to talk about 1; stay tuned tomorrow, when I will tell you about the other two things that occurred for our benefit. nIn Matthew 27, beginning at the 50th verse, the scripture tells us when Jesus let out that final loud cry, that the veil of the temple was torn.
