I read this and thought about how specifically art touches some and not others.
How that is okay and as it should be.
This has massive implications for any artist.
Zero pressure.
Some are drawn to your art. Your medium of choice. Your style. Your techniques. Or whatever combination.
Some aren't drawn no matter what and for whatever reason. Nothing anyone can do about it.
This also relates to a post I read a few years ago about how some people physically react to music.
Some people like me.
Also relates to two people in my life, both music producers. One was into electronic music in general, and the other into house music.
They both observed after listening to many of my mixes that most of the tracks I played were in minor keys.
I don't have any classical music training, so I asked them what that means.
